In the Heidelberg district of Boxberg, you will find the Hotel ISG, which has been part of the world-renowned European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) in Heidelberg for over 35 years.

The hotel is regularly modernized without changing its family-oriented and traditional style. Some of our staff have been employed at the hotel for years and are known for their friendliness and competence, making the hotel a popular meeting point for scientists and visitors of EMBL, business travelers, and tourists.

The city center can be reached in about 20 minutes by car or approximately 25 minutes using public transportation. A bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel. Thanks to good connections to the A5 and A6 motorways, you can also reach cities such as Mannheim, Sinsheim, or Speyer without detours.

Our comfortable non-smoking rooms mainly differ in their location and size. Some rooms offer a beautiful view of the Rhine Plain towards the Palatinate Forest. As our hotel guests, you can use the sauna and fitness area free of charge. For your dining pleasure, we offer a daily rich breakfast buffet or à la carte service in our restaurant with a beer garden. If you like, you can try your luck at our boule court.
